Manager Linda should not be in hospitality business - very rude. She put us on the Do Not Rent list because we complained about no hot water to take a shower - in fact freezing water; no Kleenex in room; toilet was loose and rocking; faucet in sink sprayed water on us and the room heater was very noisy when it turned off waking us up all night. She told me we should have taken showers earlier before they do laundry. It was 8am in the morning. She told us she can’t make us happy so we should stay somewhere else and put us on the Do Not Rent list. I told her if they split the difference on the cost of the room we would be happy. She declined. Not a good value - very over priced for a small town. Stay away and stay somewhere where they give you what they promise.

Hotel workers were great! The Pub inside hotel is closed and they roped off breakfast/fireplace area so there is no place to gather with family other then the pool. Which you can't bring food or drinks into. Close to gas station and …

Felt the front desk help was fairly rude about a situation in which a little kindness could have been brought forth. First shift employee told us we could have visitors to swim for my grandson’s birthday party. We invited our guests and when our guests arrived they were very miss treated and talked to like children! Paying customers. Emily stated! “ if you even think about attempting to take people in to the swimming area we will call the police” we had young children in 10 degree weather packed and we traveled… some of us from a distance. She was very rude and told our guests they couldn’t have a 6 year olds birthday party! I am an adult and to be belittled as a paying customer was very unprofessional. We had to pack up 20 plus people and pay to go to the country inn to swim! But stay in this hotel! I am sick about how we have been treated in my own town! Where we pay often to come and stay! We will spread the word around this town that this motel has rude unprofessional employees!

By far the worst Check In experience, I ever had. I checked in at 11:40am, my husband had to return to work! “Military” They charged me $50 for Check In. It was dead there and I booked a month in advance, so why would you charge me! Personally it is UNETHICAL to charge someone an early CHECK IN FEE when they check in after 11am. I pay for an entire DAY. Did I Not? There are 24 hours in a day, and we check out at 11am. Do the math! So, I booked my room a month in advance, I had my confirmation# The lady at the desk said she couldn’t see on her screen the travel card that was added. I stood there for a while pulling it up in my email and showed her my confirmation. Why book online if I am going to do the same thing in person!!!! 😡 Then she asked for my card and said the system said so. Makes no sense! It is the same card I confirmed my reservation with 😡🤯 Stood there longer than I should have! Never Again! Won’t be returning.. picture so they know I was there!

So very happy I stayed here. The hotel was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the pool was warm and lovely. BIG breakfast selection. I will 100% stay here again the next time I travel to the Sparta area.

We were pleased to experience a very pleasant stay as we were driving through the state. The hotel is spacious, clean, quiet, and what a comfortable bed! Our thanks to the very courteous and responsive staff.
